The scope

The scope covers a wide range of equipment and systems required across the hospitals, including general medical equipment, operating theatre equipment, diagnostic imaging systems, laboratory and pharmacy equipment, physiotherapy equipment, maternity and neonatal equipment, sterilisation systems, laundry and kitchen equipment, medical and non-medical furniture, and other specialised hospital equipment. Equipment packages are tailored to each hospital site’s specific requirements.

Delivery and support

Following contract signing, BC Medicals mobilised immediately and equipped three project sites within three days. Across the wider programme of 102 hospital sites, the company is responsible for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of equipment within its contracted scope, as well as ongoing maintenance and after-sales support.

“Their ability to equip three district hospitals under the Agenda 111 project within just three days reflects an impressive level of readiness, coordination, and dedication to strengthening healthcare delivery in Ghana.”
